Yes, school has come to the Wee Village. Fairies must know how
many dew drops they have stored for the winter, ogre’s have to know how
many days until Halloween and trolls – well, they like to chew on the books.
Quilters are going to have a tremendous amount of fun with this design
as there are so many shapes that hint at something else. The large
oval window could of course be a clock (the hands are just an idea and
there is no pattern for them) with a face so that the wide frame becomes
a mustache! Make another face in the small window over the door and
you have the figure of a friendly “school marm” waiting to greet Wee-Wee
Villagers. The bush can be rotated to form low hedges, stacked to
make trees and used all over your Wee Village quilt in any number of ways.
